ZhyperMU has always been progressive server, always going outside the border for innovations & creativity in game play that many always try to imitate :)
Our Castle Siege Point System proved to be competitive and it brought a lot of fun with this system but its time for next innovation that should give more life in Castle Siege.
Point system was great the only problem i see here is when score goes too high for the leading guild then some players loses hope and some even think the system has become running game, whoever runs first on switch/crown gets points and then there is another issue of ( Passing switch ) while these are all player driven every decision is made by player, we are looking for a game mechanics that will bring thrill from start to end no matter the odds are.
Introducing Strong Hold Defend System :
* Any alliance who sealed the crown and defended for solid 45 minutes will be declared winner.
* If no alliance reached 45 minutes defend time then the winner will be determined by last alliance sealer.
* War Points will still be given for successful seal & killing of Guild Masters
* Winner will still receive war points for their achievements.
This new mechanics change is pretty simple & straight forward, we will be using this mechanics starting this Castle Siege as test : 14/12/2019
* Winner of this 1st CS mechanics change will receive bonus : 10,000 War Points ( 14/12/2019 )
Then we will continue using this for next year together with our new season update.
